Infant & Toddler Teaching Assistant
We are looking for a full-time teaching assistant to support our childcare program. Our Infant/Toddler Teaching Assistant supports a nurturing, safe classroom where young children learn through play and exploration. Working alongside the lead teacher, they build caring relationships, assist with feeding, diapering, and rest routines, and encourage each child’s development through responsive interactions. Responsibilities include supervising children, maintaining a clean environment, and communicating with families and staff.
Classroom Substitutes
Our Substitute Teacher provides caring, dependable classroom coverage when regular staff are absent. Responsibilities include supervising children, following classroom plans and routines, supporting inquiry-based learning through play, and assisting with meals, personal care, and classroom cleaning. The ideal candidate is patient, flexible, and comfortable working with different age groups. Child care experience is preferred, and we are willing to train the right individual. This is a part-time, on-call position.

What hours are you open?
Our program runs 7am-6pm Monday-Friday. Each position requires varying availability during those hours. Occasional evenings and weekend work for family engagement and professional development are also required.

What are the requirements?
All employees must pass and maintain enrollment in Oregon's central background registry. Employees must complete state-required safety training and have a strong commitment to furthering their education with 24 hours of professional development annually.

Can I bring my child to work with me?
Employees are given priority enrollment into the program at a 10% discounted tuition rate. Enrollment is based on classroom availability.
